I’m MJ, a Facilities Management professional with 15 years of hands-on experience across some of the most diverse and demanding sectors in the industry, including healthcare, education, government, manufacturing, and consulting.
I hold all three of IFMA’s prestigious credentials, Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), and Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP), a combination that reflects not just my technical depth, but my genuine commitment to this profession and its future.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of operating, maintaining, and assessing millions of square feet of property, leading complex capital projects, driving preventative maintenance programs, and championing safety across both private and government environments. Each sector has sharpened my perspective and broadened my ability to solve real-world FM challenges.
My involvement in the IFMA community runs deep. As the Immediate Past President of the IFMA Greater Phoenix Chapter, Vice Chair of the IFMA YP Global Network, Vice President of the IFMA Healthcare Council, and a member of the IFMA Americas Advisory Board, I am actively engaged at both regional and global levels, investing in the growth and future of this profession.
I also have the honor of teaching IFMA credential courses, which keeps me deeply connected to the learning journey so many of you are on right now.
