Bio

With over 24 years of engineering experience and 16 years in leadership roles, such as but not limited to Chief engineer, and interim Property Manager. I have built a career rooted in technical expertise, facility management, and mentorship. A first-generation college student, obtaining a degree in environmental control technology. I inspire and pursue completing a Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management at NYC College of Technology (CUNY) while actively contributing to research projects aimed at reducing global warming, Biodiversity, Engineering, climate change and invasive plants.

Throughout their career, I have worked with prominent real estate and management firms such as CBRE, Brown Harris Stevens, and W Hotels, as well as various city, state, and federal agencies. My extensive experience includes working with the U.S. Department of State (DOS), General Services Administration (GSA), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), United States Mission to United Nations (USMUN) where I have been instrumental in managing high-profile facilities and ensuring operational efficiency. This is complemented by the collaborations of other city agencies. 

With a passion for lifelong learning, I have successfully completed over 1,500 continued education courses in engineering, facility management, and leadership. I have earned certifications from institutions such as Local 94 IOEU, Turner Institute, Red Vector and GSA Online University. My expertise spans a wide range of disciplines, including energy management, sustainability, building automation, HVAC, engineering,  CMMS, Risk Management, Counterterrorism, MEP, Life Safety, Osha, Covid-19 work place practices, Overview of federal Programs and guidelines, Project Management and emergency preparedness.

Dedicated to professional and academic excellence, I pride myself as an active member of multiple honor societies and leadership organizations, including the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) & National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS). I also hold membership in various student clubs and organizations, ranging from BMI, ASME, ASHRAE, NSBE, and PMI. I also mentor peers and encourage professional growth through Black male initiative mentorship program and as an executive board member outreach chiar for NSLS . My on going rapport and connection has offered leadership that extends beyond the classroom, having successfully recruited fellow Cuny students into research and professional development programs.

Currently, I am engaged in several projects that integrate sustainable practices and innovative facility management strategies, demonstrating my commitment to advancing the industry while inspiring the next generation of professionals.
