    Hello IFMA Friends,

    How is everyone dealing with physical mail in the digital and work from home era?  Are people using digital mailbox services, are you scanning in house?  Just looking for general information or opinions on the topic.  Do some departments have people that come in weekly to grab the mail?

    This is something we have been looking at too.  Right now the only item we are scanning is individuals business credit card statements, so they receive them in a timely manner.

    Hi Bryan,

     

    We have an in-house mail room, for sorting and bulk mailings, courier activities for the CU. We do not forward mail to individuals. We have a mailbox, like a PO Box area in a Post Office, for departments to come and pick up mail, we do not deliver mail to departments. We do however have a courier service for our branch interoffice exchange.
