Good evening, everyone,
My name is Noel Glass, and I'm currently pursuing my Master of Science in Construction Management at Texas A&M University–College Station. I'm also a U.S. Army Warrant Officer preparing to retire in 2026 and transition into the facility and project management field.
As part of my graduate coursework (COSC 670 – Facility Asset Management), I'm conducting a Facility Owner Report focused on HVAC hydronic systems and how facility managers plan, maintain, and renew these assets over their lifecycle. I'm seeking an opportunity to interview a facility manager, engineer, or operations leader to gain practical insight into how these strategies are applied in real-world commercial environments.
The discussion would last approximately 60–90 minutes, and I can easily accommodate your schedule. My target window is October 13–17, 2025, but I'm happy to work around your availability. The interview will be used solely for academic purposes and summarized for a classroom presentation at Texas A&M.
A couple of sample questions include:
- How do you balance the needs of short-term tenants with long-term asset planning?
- What are the most significant challenges you face in maintaining operational efficiency across your property portfolio?
Your perspective would provide tremendous value, not just academically, but professionally, as I prepare to apply these lessons in my upcoming internship and post-military career.
If you're open to sharing your experience or know someone who might be, please send me a direct message here on Engage or via email at noel_w_g@tamu.edu.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I genuinely appreciate the work each of you does to advance the facility management profession.
Respectfully,
