Glad to meet you Gary. Are you interested in becoming a volunteer as a Advocate, Wingman, or Liaison? We are looking for volunteers to help military personnel leaving service with adjacent MOS to enter a career in FM.

Also, are you interested in IFMA's education programs (ie. competency courses, FMP, SFP, and CFM)? Feel free to reach if you have questions.

    Byron

Looking to advocate. Our Austin chapter is in a great spot to support Ft. Hood (soon to be Ft. Cavazos), the Texas National Guard, and Reserve units in this area.

    Vincent,

Glad you are looking to become an advocate! The community leaders is currently planning meeting schedules and platforms to start dialogue with our volunteers and engaging veterans that are transitioning out of military service. I know most of the Army engineers are in the National Guard and Reserves.

Hello all! I just joined this community. I retired from the AF in 2017 and jumped right into IFMA. You can say that I'm fully domesticated now. About me, started off as an HVAC technician, and moved around in several maintenance manager positions. Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving.
