Over the past 20 years, I’ve held a variety of leadership and operational roles across facility and construction management in both public and private sectors. I began my career as a Project Manager with the U.S. General Services Administration, supporting federal facilities, and went on to manage over 2 million square feet of assets with companies like Xcel Energy, JLL, and Vertafore. My work has included everything from capital improvement planning and CMMS implementation to energy tracking, emergency preparedness, and team development. I’ve led projects ranging from tenant improvements to full building renovations up to $38 million, and have managed regional and national portfolios in critical environments like libraries, healthcare, and tech. Today, I combine that real-world experience with my role as a college professor and industry mentor, helping the next generation discover and thrive in facility management.
