You might already know that the construction works in Saudi Arabia is astonishingly expanding and diversifying. For the coming 5 – 6 years, the expenditure on the Saudi Construction Sector is expected to reach USD 1.5 Trillion. This demand is mainly coming from the Public Investment Fund (PIF), the sovereign fund of Saudi Arabia, as well as the rapidly expanding public and private sectors businesses. This will include the already much in-demand world-class Engineering, Project Management, and Facility Management Services.
PIF-driven serious and accelerated demand for Engineering, Project Management, and Facility Management Services brought major improvements to the entire Saudi business environment. First, the contracting and payment mechanisms / cycle are now automated / transparent and world-class to a great extent. Second, the emphasis on safety and protecting the environment is momentous and to global standards and expectations. Third, the competitiveness / differentiation factor between Engineering, Project Management, and Facility Management Services providers is innovation, professionalism and new ideas; not lowest prices.
At the national level, within the Saudi Government and PIF Projects, there is a serious and committed focus and investment in protecting the environment.
