Edward’s career of 34 years has centred on utilizing his Engineering, Project, and Business Management expertise to strategically transform businesses through process and cultural realignment. He has been the leader in many M&A and business transformation projects, plant & equipment, and IT projects.
Edward is the Professional Development Chair for both the IFMA Biz Community as well as the T&T Chapter of IFMA and is an active IFMA-Qualified Instructor for a full range of IFMA courses. He also lectured for seven years at the Master’s level in Project Management and Strategic Planning at the University of the West Indies.
He has held and currently holds several posts within the IFMA world - Immediate-Past President of the IFMA Business Community (BIZ), a Past Chair of the IFMA Audit Committee, the Past-President of the T&T Chapter of IFMA.
His involvement in FM extends beyond IFMA and Edward has been Chair the Facility Development & Management Committee of the T&T Chamber of Commerce for the last 8 years. Through this involvement with the Chamber, Edward has been appointed as Chair of the T&T National Mirror Committee to the ISO 41000/TC 267. He also participated in the Cabinet appointed committee to formulate a national FM Policy for Trinidad and Tobago and has been appointed to the National Council for Sustainable Development (NSCD) Working Group #3 – Improving the Local Environment.
Edward is a life-long learner and actively looks for opportunities to share his knowledge through speaking and teaching opportunities from Chapter meetings to presentations at conferences such as World Workplace (WWP) and Facility Fusion. He has also published articles in local newspapers and magazines as well as the Facility Management Journal (FMJ).
Edward provides support to firms wishing to pursue strategic transformations or solve process and organizational problems and provides ongoing strategic and board support to charitable and sporting organizations.
Since 2013, Edward has been CEO of Servus Limited, an Integrated Facilities and Project Management Company.
