These skills are essential given the variety of projects they handle, each differing in scope, complexity, duration, and financial risk. Facility managers are responsible for organizing, delegating, monitoring, and controlling projects, ensuring the FM organization’s and customers’ interests are represented throughout the project lifecycle.   • Describe common facility management projects, the roles of facility and project managers, and various project management processes and models.
  • Explain the inputs, processes and outputs related to:  
  • The Initiate phase of a project.
  • The Plan phase of a project.
  • Acquiring a team and resources and executing and controlling a project.
  • Accepting deliverables, closing contracts, and evaluating project outcomes.
