Dear all, I'm excited to be here. I am a Building Science student at Seneca College, Toronto. In addition, I am the president of the student chapter of IFMA at Seneca College. By April 2023, we will have graduates looking for Co-Op and permanent work opportunities in Canada. The list of titles appropriate for our schooling is provided below.
- Building systems engineering technician
- Energy system operations practitioner
- Energy systems operator
- Energy auditor
- Facility operator and maintenance manager
- Waterworks and gas maintenance worker
Upon graduation, we will have professional certifications such as
- Building Environmental System (BES™) Operator Class II
- BES™ Operator Class I
I am aware that some employers may want additional credentials to hire us. In order to continue working for the organization, students can manage to pass any qualifications that are required.
I want to express my gratitude to IFMA Greater Toronto Area and South-Central Ontario for supporting us from the beginning of this academic year by including us in the Haldimand County Town Hall Facility Tour, UofT Hart House Facility Tour, Annual Golf Tournament, 2022 Gala & the Silent Auction, and Annual Golf Tournament. This will never stop, I'm sure of it. We'll engage in lots of activities together.
