    We are reviewing our camera systems wide; we are currently using Varint DVR on site at each location (14) and software on network to view system. We are considering going cloud based with on-site DVR back up that an resync to the cloud in the event of a data outage. The varint has been good but is getting to end of life of 5-7 years, due to the hard drives being onsite they take some wear and tear. 

    We are looking at Avigilon and Axis, Avigilon I have past experience with Axis is new to me. anyone using either cloud platform with those? or another program that we should consider? 

    This is in the credit union banking sector, we have admin locations, branches and stand-alone ITMs to cover, so some of the cameras are specialty like glass cameras on drive up and the small format wide view inside our ITM.

    Jeff – We have Verint too, but for our latest branch which we opened on November 3, we went with a cloud security system.  We chose Eagle Eye.  They use local area installers which was helpful.  So far we are very happy with the system but it is only 6 weeks old.  We do want to go cloud based moving forward and the Eagle Eye system will operate with our existing systems (or so we are told).
