Deborah (Debbie) Kay Reece is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) with more than 15 years of experience as an association executive servicing approximately 10 associations throughout her career. She is Owner and President of DLK Marketing and Events, established in 2008 and the Chapter Manager of IFMA Denver starting in June 2018.
Debbie's major accomplishments are in association management, event architecture, marketing, social media, sponsorship, contract negotiation, strategic planning, and technology.
Debbie earned her Bachelor of Art’s Integrative Studies degree in Advertising from George Mason University in 2001. Continuing education is very important; therefore, she regularly attends industry events for current trends. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives, Association for Women in Events, Meeting Professional International Rocky Mountain Chapter, and the Meetings Industry Council. Debbie has worked with several event industry organizations over the past 15 years, including the International Live Events Association Denver Chapter.
