I'm a Facility Manager who does whatever it takes to get it done on time and on budget. I'm fortunate enough to manage the most spectacular team of technical maintenance resources as well as having the best right hand space and project management assistant. I didn't chose Facilities, Facilities chose me. I went to school for IT. Well I couldn't stand sitting still that long so I got my certification in Project Management and moved to our EPO office. I ended up getting assigned a large relocation project moving our call center to a new facility and was lucky enough to work closely with the new Director of Facilities. He offered me a position on his team immediately following that project and the rest is history!
I received my CFM in 2018 and wish I would've done it sooner. If you are on the fence, don't wait you can do it!
