  • 1.  WHO DOES FM REPORT TO?

    ​We are currently evaluating to centralize our organization´s facilities management team under our shared services center. However we are struggling whether this function should report to HR or Finance or perhaps even other, but we don´t have a solid "evidence" to support who owns this function in other organizations. Any ideas?

    Hi 

    In general , FM team supports the organisation operations and ensures the uptime. Meaning the function should ideally align to COO , Chief operation officer who is responsible for entire ops be it HR , Risk, Compliance, Procurement, BCP, Real estate and so on .....
    This way FM team gets seat in the management . ELSE the only other role which could get the alignment is CEO.
