The panel will explore the impact of artificial intelligence on facility management. The discussion will cover the numerous benefits of AI and the significant challenges associated with AI implementation. Additionally, the requirements for successful AI adoption, such as staff training and robust digital infrastructure, will be discussed to ensure a seamless transition to AI-driven facility management.

Ted Ritter, Principal of LMI360, Global Co-Chair of the IFMA Technology Community
Ted Ritter has worked and traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. He is the Principal of LMI360, a company that solely supports organizations that support the Built Environment. He is the Current Global Co-Chair of the IFMA Technology Community, Past President of the Greater Phoenix Chapter, and a Past Chair of IFMA Americas’ Advisory Board. He has over 30 years of experience in facility operations and project management. He is a co-author of “The Facility Manager’s Guide to Information Technology”, author of multiple articles, and has contributed to over 100 presentations on Best Practices regarding the use of FM Technology, Sustainability, and Brand Management. Ted was named an IFMA Fellow in 2019.
Erik Jaspers, IFMA Fellow, vice chair of the IFMA EMEA Board
Erik Jaspers' career in IT spans over 40 years, starting in manufacturing automation at Philips Electronics. For the last 25 years, he has been working for Planon, the leading smart building management software vendor. Having held senior management positions in developing Planon's software solutions, Erik is currently working on product strategy and innovation policies. Since June 2024, he has retired from this position.
Erik contributed to multiple publications on IT and facility management (FM) subjects, including IFMA publications like ‘Work on the Move’ (2011, 2016, 2021), ‘Technology for Facility Managers’
Colette Temmink EVP, Strategy & Delivery for Voxel
Colette serves as EVP, Strategy & Delivery for Voxel which empowers safety leaders to make informed, strategic decisions with its video-based AI safety intelligence platform. Her previous experience included roles as the SVP, Chief Administrative Officer at Apollo Education Group, and Global Head of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) for Cushman & Wakefield. She has also held real estate executive roles at Oracle and Boeing. She is a speaker and author on corporate real estate, facilities management, ESG, and PropTech. Her professional affiliations include Counselor of Real Estate (CRE®), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Masters of Corporate Real Estate (MCR), Senior Leader of Corporate Real Estate (SLCR), and Certified Facility Manager (CFM).
