Facility managers oversee the operation of a facility, ensuring its systems, structure, interiors, exteriors, and grounds function efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations. They must stay knowledgeable about building systems as operations and maintenance evolve due to wear, new regulations, operational changes, and occupant needs.
